Sales Team Assessment and performance evaluation

While many sales assessments measure aptitude or personality, the fact is, personality on its own is not enough to be successful in sales. Our Salecology Assessment range measures sales attributes, suitability and skills, focusing only on the factors that really make a difference in sales success. We’ll help you answer key questions, like:

  • Could any of your salespeople be performing even better?
  • Which of your salespeople have what it takes to become a top performer?
  • What weaknesses are holding your team back from reaching their full potential?
  • Do you have the right people in the right sales roles?
  • What is the current state of your team’s skills, and what will it take to bring their skills and capabilities to a higher level?

Uncover Your Team’s Sales Strengths, Weaknesses, and Growth Potential

Using our Salecology Sales Assessment tools, we will be able to evaluate your sales team to determine their strengths, weaknesses, growth potential, and overall ability to sell.

The assessment provides individual and team analysis of your salespeople and sales managers, detailing each individual’s potential to become a top performer. We provide a roadmap that identifies the skills each individual must learn, the attributes they must develop, and the weaknesses they must overcome to achieve top sales success.

Your management team will receive a summary that uncovers the crucial elements of success that exist across your sales team, the major hidden weaknesses in your team, the revenue growth potential in your team, and sales management’s effectiveness.

Observational Assessment

Our Salecologists often spend time doing sales accompaniments or spend some time listening to sales call, watching sales demonstrations, listening to negotiations and reviewing pitch packs. This helps us identify the skills, knowledge and behaviour and what people actually do vs what they can do. We find many people know what they should or could do, but their actions don't demonstrate the knowledge.

Salecology also partner with Call tracking organisations to build continual assessment and call analytics to spot behaviour from both the customer and agent.

Build a Plan for Sales Improvement

Based on the results of the sales assessment, we’ll deliver specific recommendations and an action plan that maps out what you need to do to significantly improve sales results. This may include elements from Salecology’s range of targeted programmes on developing sales capability and building a robust Sales Process.

Learning should not be seen as a one-off event – achieving sustained behavioural change is a continuous process, so what you do after the learning event is more important than what you do during the event itself.

Because everyone learns at their own pace and in different ways, Salecology has created the Salecology Learning Zone as a place for sales professionals and managers to explore new techniques and refresh their knowledge so that they can continue to improve their game.

An essential tool for both teams and managers, the Salec includes a range of learning aids, reminders, bitesize videos and downloads that enable individuals to revisit lessons and review their progress. The Salecology Learning Zone will also give you the ability to capture sales behaviours and coaching notes wherever you are.

For sales team leaders, Salecology has also produced the Sales Coach App to provide an objective view of sales team performance, enabling them to:

  • Capture sales behaviour and produce real-time analytics
  • Review skills and sales capability across the organisation
  • Collate coaching notes for each sales person
  • Set and agree learning and development objectives
